"It is pretty basic, but equiped with all necessities and nicely put together. A cozy cabin with a lot of history. No street noise, no neighbor noise! Just woods, fields and creeks and all their critters. Good place to write, read and rest. No screens. Best for a small family, close friends or a couple. Not much privacy amongst the guests, but very private from the rest of the world! My husband and I loved it and hope to return!"

"My cousin and I stayed in the cottage for a girls' weekend. We adore it! We wish we could live here forever! It is clean and comfortable and better than the photos represent. "The Clifton House is like stepping into your own manor by the bay. The large 5-acre property ensures privacy and peace. Upon our arrival, the home was clean and the furniture in good condition. The house is LARGE with room for everyone in our party of 8 to spread out and relax. For 6 guests in our party, this was their second stay at the Clifton House, and they all said it was as wonderful as they all remembered. "The stay was great if you don’t mind cameras watching you. Propane tank was empty, couldn’t sit on balcony because straw would go up my ass from the crappy chairs. "The property lies a couple of streets back from the water front. The drive to the house is via an eclectic variation of trailer homes. The campsite is really quite large. The house was lovely - very clean and spacious. There are three bedrooms, one downstairs powder room and a jack-and-Jill bathroom accessible from the master bedroom and the upstairs hallway. On our day of arrival, we were treated to 2 2-hour training shows, at 3pm and 8pm, from the nearby Naval base, where Hawkeye aircraft...
