New surrounding construction blocking what would have been the original view was unfortunate and main entrance was not well marked. We eventually did find our way without having to contact owner. "I am in BC for work and had to stay over the weekend so I took the ferry from Horseshoe Inlet to Nanaimo. The ferry is easy and an enjoyable ride. The Savvy Seagull was a great place to stay. Very clean and the fireplace made it feel very comfortable in early Spring. Ray was very helpful and accommodating to my late check in. Thanks for everything!"

"The b and b is more like an air b and b. No meals prepared bu supplies were there for breakfast. The bed was a double and I would have preferred as queen. The bed was quite firm also. E we’re the first guests this spring and the owners were not quite prepared for us. It was a pleasant stay but could have been better"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay in this modern and clean townhouse but would advise guests that as of fall 2023 there is no view from this unit and there is construction directly outside where the patio and BBQ area. "The inside of the house has been completely updated and is very nice. The front deck gets the morning sun and the back deck afternoon sun so it is perfect for enjoying the decks. The location is great for access to local shops and restaurants and the beach. It is on a fairly busy street but that is the trade off for being able to walk to so many places. The yard was needing some TLC but perhaps that is because we were there in April. Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would stay...

"The apartment was very comfortable to stay in. Communication and check in was very easy and Al was very flexible. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and supplied. The lounge room was very cozy with the fire particularly as we had cold and rainy weather. Highly recommend to stay here."

"Great spacious property with a great full kitchen. Teen loved pool table. Cleaning job wasn’t that thorough. Fridge had not been wiped out after last guests and the cupboard handles and hoodfan etc were kinda gross. I had to give the fridge and kitchen a good wipe before I could unload but otherwise the place was nice. Comfy beds. The deck floor needs a good power wash or something but wasn’t too bothered by that."

"Great place to stay with the family. This was our second visit and we absolutely love it. They have everything you would need and the kids loved the pool/hottub. Close to all that Parksville has to offer and right near the beach. Highly reccomend."
