We really enjoyed our stay at Valerie’s home. It was clean and comfortable and filled all of our needs. I really enjoyed meeting Valerie and her son. Very friendly. We hope to return next year.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this property. It was exactly as described and pictured. I plan to return. It's so quiet and peaceful yet close (by car) to many activities. The house is spacious and comfortable, and provided a relaxing space after busy days of exploring the area.

Beautiful secluded island stay

The property was about 20 minutes off the main roads but the peaceful, private nature of the property was perfect for our stay. Suite was very clean, cutely decorated, had basic amenities and felt like home. Kids loved their room with the two twin beds and adult rooms were cozy and comfortable. Spacious area for a party of 4 to share. Would highly recommend.

Property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The drive back and forth to the beach was nice as well so there was lots to do.

It was an enjoyable stay. The only issue was it was quite far by road from the people we were visiting (quite close as the crow flies). The views were spectacular!

Great proximity to Little Qualicum Falls. Good size bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Enjoyed sitting outside in the back yard. Property manager was very helpful, but floors could have been cleaner. Would definitely come back!

Quiet Clean Spot

A little out of the way and we did miss not having a barbecue, but overall, great place. Well maintained, well stocked and peaceful and quiet at all times!

Loved this stay. The place was clean, exactly like the photos. Kitchen was adequately stuffed . The hostess was nice and friendly, she accommodated our schedule. The only thing to take into account is this place is far from the city centre. I would highly recommend this place

Quiet and Comfortable

Our stay was lovely. Accommodation was very quiet, clean and everything was comfortable. A couple of minor repairs needed which we were made aware of by owner so it wasn't a problem at all. Note that local places of interest and the ocean are about a 30 min drive but if you're just looking for a quiet get away of good value, our group of ladies highly recommend this property.

This is a great place to come for a vacation. If you want to get away from everything. It is a little far out of town somewhere around 25 to 30 minutes out. But it is a great place beautiful views. And very quiet. I would most definitely stay again.

The house was spacious. Though it has one bathroom, the bedrooms are big enough. All amenities were working. The place was in gated community, and well surrounded by nature. From Main street is bit of drive to get in and out.

The property and area was very clean and met your basic needs. The host was receptive and even assisted with a very late check-in. The property is a lengthy drive away from anything but the drive had a nice mountain scenery. The bare essentials were provided but that is all.

Nice location. About 20 minutes from closest town. Quiet. Beautiful property. Nice size house and 4 beds for 4 adults. Helpful owner. Maps instructions were wrong, called Owner and she assisted. Our first time with VRBO and we will do it again. Great experience. Great Vacation!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay here and fit our needs perfectly. We needed a place with 3 bedrooms at a reasonable price and this fit my group during our 2 night stay. I would definitely come back. The lock is a bit temperamental but once we figured out the trick to it (a slight gentle push when it engages) we were able to come and go easily. Communication with the owner was clesr and well done. We enjoyed watching the deer wander tbrough the yard and the birds popping around. Thanks for the good holiday.

Amazing house

A lovely house in a very nice and quiet location. The house was very clean, spacious and well decorated. We had everything we needed. It was conveniently located for the places we wanted to visit. The recommendations from the owner were very good. The kids loved the mini golf and the Splash park in Parksville. We also visited Coombs, Horne Lake caves and Englishman river Falls. It was nice to be so close to the Little Qualicum Falls, we could even go to swim. A very lovely place

A few upgrades needed

The bedrooms were nice. The beds comfortable. The only things really lacking in the kitchen were a kettle and a scrubber for the dishes. The living room was large but only one small couch and a small chair so nowhere for 3 people to lounge comfortably . The place really needs a manual to tell you how to turn on fans, lights, etc..

Peaceful stay

The property was exactly as shown in the posting. This bright suite is very peaceful with a full kitchen, spacious living area, comfortable beds and a whirlpool bathtub. Lots of natural light with large buried overlooking the trees. Perfect for a relaxing stay or time spent with family and friends. Set apart from the more touristy area, the drive to the beach and highway did not seem long at all. Our host Valerie was respectful of our privacy but was available if we needed her.

Clean family suite

Suite is super clean with plenty of room for a family or two. Three bedrooms with comfy beds, full kitchen, dining and living room. Super spacious bathroom with a huge soaker tub that my grandson dubbed a ‘pool’. Outdoor space where you can dine or enjoy the area views (No ocean view) A bit of a drive from town but small local store nearby if you need milk or snacks. Owner right next door and super responsive if needed. We had a relaxing stay and had everything we needed.
