"My wife and I stayed for 3 nights whilst visiting our son who is studying in Regensberg and we absolutely loved the hotel. The location was great, the room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were friendly and efficient, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the bar/restaurant was superb with a great wine list and delicious food. We couldn't fault anything about it and we will definitely be back."

"Hotel Orpheus was the most delightful stay. The room was absolutely charming, the decor and furniture in keeping with the vintage of the hotel, the artwork was lovely throughout the whole hotel, plenty of room, a thoughtful gift of a bottle of red wine and some water and nuts and great quality toiletries. First impressions last and this wasn’t a good one.
"Hotel: The hotel itself was absolutely fine. Clean, modern and generally very pleasant. Check-in: The lady at the check-in was rude and seemed like she did not want to be there. She constantly interrupted me when I asked about the parking reservation that I had made, she went on about the breakfast that I didn’t reserve and was generally very unfriendly to deal with. She also told me I didn’t have a booking until she actually read my German ID card properly. This was not what I needed after such a long drive and certainly not what I would expect from front office staff at a four star hotel. Check-out: Conversely, the short conversation I had with the lady on reception when I checked out using the online check-out in the morning was extremely friendly and thankful. "
