We had a wonderful stay at Sorat Insel-Hotel Regensburg! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location couldn’t have been better — right by the river with beautiful views and just a short walk to the historic city center. Our room was comfortable, clean, and full of charm. The only challenge was the parking garage, which was a little tight for our larger car. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Right across the bridge from city of Regensburg. Close to ships if you are taking a Viking cruise. Arrived at 11am, and front desk associate allowed us to check in early. Great stay, bar in hotel.

The location is excellent for walking into old town Regensburg, you could not ask for better. Breakfast is good. Rooms a bit dated , but worth it for the location . I would abs stay there again .

This hotel has a wonderful view of the river, the bridge and the city. It is an easy walk to anything you need in Regensburg. The staff was helpful and friendly.

A great location straddling the river. The view from our room was of the river and old town area. The hotel itself lacks charm but makes up for it with a great breakfast. Our room was ok nothing more.

Arrived for one night on the tail end of a 2 week Germany trip. Hotel location is great, just outside the old city, on the Danube. Very walkable. Room was just OK. The beds were too hard, you could feel the springs in the mattresses--please replace them--and the old corner tub with a handheld shower was very difficult to use-getting in/getting out was dangerous for my partner. Pillows were very uncomfortable foam pillows. For the price, they should be better. Rooms need to be updated. Breakfast was nice but nothing special. Staff was all very friendly and responsive. Parking at the hotel was convenient yet expensive. Would consider another place for our next visit to Regensburg.
