"Excellent communication from our host, Elena. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, great shower. Lots of closet space. We had a lovely patio surrounded by jasmine and hydrangeas. We enjoyed our coffee on the patio in the morning, while being serenaded by the birds. Joyful! The location is walking distance to all the trails, restaurants, sights and the water, but far enough away to be peaceful. There is air conditioning and a little fridge. Perfect for our stay in Riomaggiore."

"Beautiful place to stay for my girlfriend and I. Very convenient location from the train station. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was very clean. There was no mini fridge only the mini bar which could only fit one bottle of wine. Overall an excellent trip but make sure to pack lightly because the stairs are no joke. "

"Very nice room with a balcony. Host was very easy to communicate with. Walking distance to everything in town. Parking is at the top of town in a paid parking lot. You will have to walk down - this is typical in the area. "

"We had the most amazing stay at Il Vigneto in the charming town of Volastra! Our room was clean, spacious, and simply but functional, and had a breathtaking view of the ocean from the window. The views from the panoramic terrace are even better, though it was too cold and windy in the mornings that we were there so we ate breakfast in the cozy kitchen instead. Breakfast was simple but delicious with breads, jams, pastries, and yogurt with coffee and juice - perfect fuel for a day of hiking! And the hiking in the area was incredible! From Volastra you can easily hike to Manarola or Corniglia, or take a longer route to any of the other towns. For times when you don't want to hike, there is a regular shuttle bus between Volastra and Manarola, though it was a bit tight when we arrived with our luggage and we only had carry-on size suitcases. The B&B was easy to find by following the hosts instructions from the shuttle drop off point. They provided a key code to get in the front door and then our keys were in our room door so we didn't have to formally check in until the next morning at breakfast. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, even going so far as to offer us a ride to La Spezia on the day we were leaving because I was completely incapacitated with a stomach flu. I felt so well taken care of! We also got to do a tasting of the wine the host makes from his vineyards, which was very cool! Overall, our only regret is that we didn't stay longer in this amazing place!"

"Finding the check-in office was a little confusing but I found a member of cleaning staff who was very helpful and took me to my room and then showed me where the office was to check in. Staff at the office were very knowledgeable of the area and helped answered all our questions. Room was very spacious and clean. No complaints, would stay again. "

"What a lovely apartment and helpful hosts. The stairs they talk about are real so if climbing is an issue this great place is not for you. Very nice location two balconies to choose from for a nice sit down outside. Highly recommended"

"We just finished a 5 night stay here and cannot say anything bad! Maddy the host was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Great communication beforehand with directions and general info. We utilized the parking spots and Maddy was so kind and met us to show us where to park, then walked us to the unit (priceless). The unit itself is very convenient to shops and restaurants, and easy to navigate to the train station. Maddy gave us tons of info when we checked in that helped a lot, especially after an extremely long travel day. As with most places in Italy, be ready to haul your bags up/down steep inclines and steps. Can't recommend this place more!"
