The guesthouse is ideally situated for visiting most of Rome’s biggest attractions. It was also very quiet in my room which is unusual when staying in a city centre. A big thanks to the concierge Chris. I enjoyed our chats and you were a great host (just a shame about the result in the football!!)

I have no bad words to say about this hotel! It has a very homely vibe to it and no issues with cleanliness or anything! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome as it is in perfect walking distance to every popular landmark of Roma; 10 mins to Vatican, 20 mins to Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain! Beware the train station is a 45 minute walk but still isn’t too bad, €15-20 for taxi to hotel from station which isn’t bad at all

I highly recommend Hotel Palazzo Medusa for an incredible stay in Rome. The ideal location, just a short walk from all the captivating sights, sets the perfect tone. Despite being in the heart of Rome, the hotel offers a serene environment, ensuring a restful night's sleep. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptionally helpful staff. From the moment of booking until departure, their kindness shines through. The proactive communication, including essential details about airport transportation and pre-arrival requests, made the entire experience seamless. Upon arrival, Matteo welcomed us with courtesy and warmth. A thoughtful touch was the personalized recommendations for dining and drinking spots. This not only simplified decision-making but also led us to an outstanding place for truffle carbonara, enhancing our trip significantly. In summary, our weekend at Hotel Palazzo Medusa was nothing short of amazing, thanks to its outstanding accommodation and incredibly accommodating staff. I couldn't recommend this hotel more for a delightful stay in Rome.

Very small boutique hotel. Lovely big rooms. Quiet side street so no traffic noise. Great location for the Vatican as it is less than 10 minute walk there. Restaurants and cafes near by. Perfect stay

Good Little find
The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Rome on foot. The entrance is a simple doorway on a small street. We realised a lot of hotels are similar as they occupy the upper levels across the building. The hotel staff were very friendly & helpful, suggesting local restaurants in both cheap eats & fine dinning.

I recommend asking for an extended checkout or even purchasing an extra night if you have a later flight. The property is very strict and gives no extension past 11:00. There was also a horrible high pitched ringing sound the last night. Other than that, the hotel is in a great location to all of Rome.

Very comfortable, but a little noisy
We had a short stay as part of a backpacking trip. Overall the room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the location was great. It was a bit noisy with people walking on the floor above but that is just part of how this building is built.

Absolutely wonderful room and management
The guy that checked us in was Amazing!! Very thorough, excited to help us know where several tourist attractions were on the map, offered local restaurant favorites, carried our bags up, he was so welcoming:). The room was great too, high ceiling made of of open wood, renovated modern and spacious bathroom. 2 comfy twin beds that could be a king. Highly recommend this place.

Though a little tricky to initially find when you are pulling luggage through cobblestone streets, this place was otherwise fantastic! (Look at the placards on the sides of the buildings, as no other signage was available. The entrance is tucked away and unsuspecting.) Matthew was wonderful during check in and check out, including doing a remarkable job communicating before and during our stay. They arranged ground transportation for us from the airport and to the cruise terminal. Of course, we paid for that separately, but the cost and other specifics were clearly communicated. Matthew made great efforts to make sure we knew where we were located in the city, and he recommended some great restaurant and café options. This hotel is located in the midst of several foreign embassies, so that made for interesting (and super safe) walks from one location to another. The listing refers to soundproof rooms, and we certainly found that to be true - and an unexpected benefit considering the marble interiors and common areas do not absorb sound otherwise. We only saw two other guests during our stay, which made the place feel very private. This location is very close to all public transportation and taxi services.

The highlight is going to be the service you will receive. Mateo was outstanding and like a personal local guide to help with all your needs. Property is extremely small and has historic building within walk most things.

Mateao welcomed us early to his boutique hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable and had a modern bathroom. Location was great with many iconic attractions in walking distance. Mateo and his brother suggested wonderful restaurants close by and there were many wine bars in the area. I would stay here again.

First, I want to mention Andrea the host of the palazzo, he was OUTSTANDING! Extremely helpful and so polite & courteous! He gave me great food suggestions and organized my transportation to and from the airport! He was like having a personal concierge! The palazzo itself is in an amazing location with so much near by you can walk a short distance to be there. My room was very clean and it was very quiet as well. Theres a great cafe right next door and is wonderful for breakfast! I highly recommended Palazzo Medusa for a great place to stay and exceptional service!!

So cute in the heart of Rome
This was a brilliant stay in an excellent location in Rome. We walked to every famous site. Many only 15 mins, even the coliseum was a healthy 30 mins walk. For 3 star we found it gorgeous and so comfy. Everything you need. Friendly staff, that would help you or leave you to your trip which ever you preferred. And they gave brilliant restaurant recommendations. We would absolutely stay there again.

Great location. I stayed in a small room - basic but fit the needs and the price and location were right. Just not the place if you need a lot of service - not staffed 24 hours, no lobby, etc. More of a b&b ... well a bed ... not breakfast, but who wants to spend time eating in your hotel or in the lobby when you are in Rome?

This was my first hotel on my Rome trip and it was perfect! It was on a quiet street that was just next to the main road so the location was great without being too noisy from the crowds! They scheduled an airport pick up for me and stayed late to get me checked in! I would definitely recommend booking this place!
