"We stayed for an event at the Sheffield Arena that’s pretty close by. The hotel was much better value than the Sheffield City centre hotels. The bar area is busy and welcoming, the room is pretty basic but as to be expected for the price the range. The bathroom was basic but the shower unit was good. "

"The Royal Hotel is good enough. We come to Scunthorpe to see family and need a place to stay and the Royal hotel does the job. No frills, inexpensive and you get what you pay for. The bed is comfortable. The family room is spacious enough. It's a little dated but comfortable enough, staff are friendly and we've stayed here a couple of times and will continue to stay here "
