"The only complaint was right at the end we were leaving around 9:30 a.m. and we had mowers come in and mow around the property at very high rates of speed. WE were afraid we were going to get hit by flying debris would have been nice if they could have waited 10 minutes for us to leave and then start since check out really wasn't until 11 a.m."

"Amazing, just amazing. While familiar with the area, we did not realize that there was the perfect home for a planned vacation that provided an amazing deck with a view (we spent a lot of time here), comfort and space in the master suite. Space throughout the house and the multiple level of decks. We were amazed at the privacy of the location of the house. A true retreat. This will be the only place we stay for our annual trip to Galena going forward."

"This home was so well maintained. I love the little things like having everything labeled and instructions for the heating and cooling system. We also appreciated the quality of the kitchen/cooking tools (pots/pans etc.) and the mattress. This house lacked absolutely nothing! The owner kept great contact with us. We really enjoyed this home."

"We haven't been to Galena since 2019 and we were eager to visit a wonderful area of Illinois. We weren't disappointed with our visit starting off with Ginger's wonderful, secluded home. The property was as described and worthy of the 200+ ten-star reviews. Having 3 bedrooms, each with their separate bathrooms was perfect for the 3 couples that comprised our party. "My sister and I stayed here for a girls weekend with our teen and preteen girls. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and fully stocked with all you would need.
