"Very cosy appartement centrally in Saumur, close to shops, attractions and restaurants. Sited close to the Loire, there are plenty of things to do without a car, but the owners provided a safe parking space in a locked courtyard. Aliona and Benoît were wonderful hosts."

"AIR CONDITIONNING SET TO 24DegC. Too hot! Because of flying bugs, we couldnt open the window, so we had to sweat. At night, the walk from the car park to the hotel is in the total obscurity. No solar powered light installed for the guest's security. These 2 issues are easy to fix."

"First, the hotel room, staff and location were great. It would have been nice to know that major construction has been going on for a while, and will continue for some time to come. In absolute fairness, this did NOT impact sleep at the place. It did distract from a welcoming feeling. Trucks, cranes etc were the first thing we saw as we got there. The parking (regardless of construction) is limited in the immediate area, but the Hotel has an arrangement with the immediately adjacent...

"The room was a very small box room in the attic. Had an en-suite. Air con worked when it wanted. Could not open window as it opened over the bed. Breakfast was 8.50€ per person. You were given a small basket with one croissant each,one pain du chocolate each and some very hard bread. Plus the other continental breakfast fare. Did not feel it was worth it. Been in other budget hotels and they were mych better"
