"Up in the mountains is this nice villa with spacious rooms. After our camping vacation in Portugal we endend our trip in the villa. We rented the whole villa for our group. "This is a lovely set of small properties in an amazing location, ideally placed to explore the region. The pool was great and big enough to swim in (15 to 20m in length), Our house was clean and comfortable and the owners very helpful. I am very happy to recommend it."

"This restored farmhouse is great. Fruit trees and garden paths and even goats to feed. The pool was a bonus. Off the beaten path but we’ll worth the effort. The manager was lovely and helpful and I would recommend this property to everyone. One note the thresholds are low but even our 6’4” guest adapted. Great for a family or large group. Lots to entertain the youngsters."

"Loved our two week stay here. Beautiful property, decorated to a very high spec with breathtaking views you can never tire of. Incredibly clean and worked really well for our family of 6. Our children loved the pool and jacuzzi / indoor swimming pool. Gardens are stunning and and our host Manuella was superb - friendly and attentive. We will definitely return one day"

"Charming house, very clean and well equipped. The small pool is perfect for toddlers that don’t know/are learning how to swim! Our daughter loved it! Wonderful setting in great location! Jane is the best! She is the sweetest and most helpful host! I totally recommend staying in casa de Alagoa! We had such relaxing days, I will definitely would like to come back with my family and/or friends :)"

"Luna Chalet are rustic chalets, and I must admit that the unit given to us was very comfortable with great views. Nice bedding, good towels, all dishes and soap needed. The only negative is that they supply the nespresso type machines but with no pods. It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. A lot of channels on the television also. I strongly recommend the chalet. "
