"Large room, well appointed, helpful staff, good location "

"Lovely grounds and area. The room was of good size and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, it had been a hot day and we didn't check in until late. We found the room boiling hot as no windows were opened. There was a fan in the room which made a incredibly loud racket and the doors to the balcony wouldn't open. We slept not well as a result of how hot it was. I'm sure our experience was a one-off but my feedback was brushed aside at check out. "

"Me and a friend stayed here for the night for my 40th birthday. We were greeted by Amelia who was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Our stay was lovely the location perfect and generally the staff were great. There was a very abrupt gentleman at front office in the morning but everyone else including the house keeping ladies were great. We had a treatment there and this was great too :) thank you "

"My second stay at The George. A boutique hotel with pleasant friendly staff. Comfortable, tastefully decorated room with easy access to parking. An easy walk to shopping areas of the Promenade and High Street, and for Montepellier Park for the Cheltenham Jazz Festival. A diverse range of restaurants compliment cuisines from around the world, situated nearby to suit every budget. "

"Staff right across were really helpful, with a very welcoming ‘can do’ approach. The health club facilities are very good - steam room, sauna, hot tub, and swimming pool. There is plenty of space in this hotel."
