"Beautiful historic hotel perfectly located near lovely promenade, shops and restaurants. I had a very large room overlooking the park. Very quiet."

"It is a lovely hotel, very peaceful and quiet area. It could use a bit of redecoration in certain sites but it is clean enough and still very comfortable with all the amenities. Breakfast is superb (I would say above average for the chain hotels) and this is one of the very few hotels where you can actually open the windows! (and there is a garden outside so it is actually pleasant to do). Swimming pool is again maybe a bit old but perfectly good and comfortable to use. It is a great place for a relaxing stay to detach from the daily stress; not so much if you really need a good wifi as this can be really sluggish, although maybe there is a way around it (I think they have some premium wifi service there but there will be likely an extra fee). "

"Unfortunately we arrived and Expedia had over booked us for a family room. But the amazing staff soon sorted it for us and we ended up have the most amazing stay. I highly recommend the hotel. Bar meals or room service not so much very expensive for what you get if I’m honest. But can’t fault the hotel stay or staff. "

"What a beautiful place, so full of character, we went for our anniversary and was upgraded to a room within the mansion, we even had an anniversary card and the towels were shaped into a pair of swans on our bed. service was great and the food, couldn't fault anything, will definitely go back"

"Amazing few nights away, rained the whole time so we couldn’t really go out or use the balcony but despite that the hotel is amazing and we were able to use the spa facilities multiple times, enjoyed treatments and the lobby bar was great! Would 100% return. "
