"Food was really gorgeous. We had breakfast, dinner and cream tea there. All excellent. Room was very comfortable but small. Hotel garden lovely. Drinks great. Service was haphazard: often had to go inside to seek or give a food order, or request cutlery once food had come etc, as hard to flag someone down once we’d been seated/served. Some staff were welcoming, some were brusk. Hotel in beautiful town and was a lovely place. Overall, would go again. "

The place is adorable, clean, exactly as pictures show but actually better, and the hosts are amazing - friendly, accommodating, and extremely hospitable. "This place was absolutely fantastic! I travel around a fair bit. I had the best sleep I have had in any hotel, black out curtains, cool, not just quiet..silent! No banging doors and creaky floor boards and the comfiest bed and pillows. Beautiful views of the surrounding water wildlife and building itself to wake up to. Everything worked and made the stay easy, spacious parking, easy warm showers..no faffing, spacious well designed rooms. Clean, friendly staff and excellent facilities. I came to stay for work but will come back just to relax in the hotel for pleasure! Great place, great price."
