Check in process was quick and painless and great recommendations on the local area. The room was clean, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. We had the cooked breakfast which was cooked to order and decent range of buffet options."

"A lovely one night stay here for a concert in Blenheim Palace which is about 20 minutes away. Easy check in with the friendly staff and large bar/restaurant area. Room was decent with a large double bed and great shower. Easy walk to Bicester village shopping outlet."

"We checked in late at night and would have liked to have paid by cash but it was card only. Would have liked to have used a lift as I have a leg injury but understand that the hotel is old so it didn’t have one. The room & bathroom was modern with tea & coffee making facilities. The highlight of the short stay was the breakfast, for how little the breakfast cost was it was unbelievable value and very nice. All in all the one night stay was extremely good value for money. "

"Nice and well design hotel close to Blenheim Palace. Good bar and comfortable room. Unfortunately the bathroom although new, it was poorly finished with the floor tiles poorly grouted and loose and the shower floods. Disappointing work."

"This place is a little gem - rooms very comfortable with free bottled water tea and coffee. Service and staff are amazing. Our first stay here as very convenient for the Town Centre - certainly will not be our last. Well done to all the staff and management here - keep it up - the word is out!"

"We thoroughly loved our stay at Sturdy's Castle. From the moment we arrived we were treated royally! One of the great services we received was that a member of the staff helped us with our laundry. We'd been traveling for many days and needed to do some laundry. When I asked if there was a laundry for guests to use, I was informed no. However, she said that she would be willing to help us and she did! When I tried to pay her, she would not accept. Such service is rare and exceptional. Thank you so very much for a perfect stay at Sturdy's Castle. We'll be back!"
