"Great short stay. Host was attentive enough to keep you at ease without creating a fuss. Room was beautiful and spotless. Lovely little touches like the bedside chocolates and fresh milk in the mini fridge. We had a deluxe room and en-suite and was well worth the additional pay. Breakfast was beautiful, plenty of choice and all fresh while overlooking the garden. Couldn’t fault the stay. Will definitely be returning when next in the Cotswolds."

Lovely staff, great atmosphere. I’m a vegetarian and also had a wonderful dinner. The breakfast was also delicious. Will always stay here when visiting Oxford."

"Usually use Prem Inn but prices are getting ridicules, found Kingfisher Bard, first class, reasonable price and breakfast included not like Prem Inn, £9.50 extra for continental brekkie. Definitely use again."

The suite was a mini home from home, the decor was lovely and the furnishings stylish and extremely comfortable, especially the king-size bed, all in all everything you need. We received a really warm welcome from our host Pauline, who had a wealth of knowledge about Woodstock and the surrounding area, and nothing was too much for her, thank you. We will return with our friends."

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."
