"We had a very nice stay. It was quiet, peaceful and the forest was beautiful. We really enjoyed the fire pit. The cottage was spotless. It was close enough to downtown Cadillac restaurants when we wanted to eat out. The Cadillac area beaches were nice. This is a dog friendly cottage. I am allergic to dogs but had no allergies. We received helpful communication from the owners during our stay. We had a wonderful time! I highly recommend this cottage. "

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts are great! Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!"

"My husband and I stayed here to kick off our anniversary road trip, and we were so happy we did! The cabins are clean, cute and cozy. You can hear the creek babbling from the cabins as you lay in bed. We really enjoyed our gifts that were left in the cabin and also the amenities they had available in the common area. What a wonderful place. Our second stay.
"We truly enjoy staying here. It’s beautiful and out of the way and you won’t be bothered. It’s a working farm/log cabin builder so you get to see some real neat sites and if you love animals you won’t be disappointed. I’d give them 6 stars if possible and recommend anyone give it a try."
