"Didn't like difficulty in communicating with check-in staff, and having to walk up two levels of stairs twice, carrying luggage. There was no elevator (I did not see any remark about this on Wotif). BUT THE CHECK-iN STAFF WERE MARVELLOUS. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. They even carried up my wife's luggage on arrival and carried it down at check-out. They made the stay much more enjoyable."

"I have never stayed in this type of property. I usually pick a known hotel brand because I know what to expect but I’m so happy I didn’t. We were greeted by the owners with a welcome drink, snacks, and kindness. We sat and talked while they checked us in and then showed us to our room and talked about their amenities. "We had a wonderful time in Kottli. The houses are charming and well maintained. I did read a review before we went there complaining about the cleanliness of the property, but whoever wrote that probably doesn't live in the countryside. We found it perfectly clean for a rural property and Sanja who looks after the property was very nice and friendly. Great place to stay if you don't want to be in the tourist hot spots! "

"Das Haus ist sehr schön, besonders der Turm mit den offenen Fenstern von denen man einen wunderschönen Ausblick hat ist ein echtes Highlight. Es gibt ein Haupthaus und ein dazugehöriges Apartment zu dem auch eine Küche und ein Bad gehören. Außerdem gibt es einen sehr großen Garten und Außenbereicht in dem man gut entspannen kann. Das Haus befindet sich in dem kleinen Ort Prodani und liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Der nächste Supermarkt ist 10min mit dem Auto entfernt. Größte Kritikpunkte...

"I was a little confused getting in...ended up “checking in” at the restaurant, but the room was great (it seemed brand new) and the breakfast was spectacular. The location is right in the middle of the old town; just bring well-soled shoes as the stones are very slippery, even when dry, and the town is very hilly. A little advice from one of the servers led me to a beautiful nearby beach. Would highly recommend!"

Wir waren in Štrmac in dem Haus des Vermieters, wo er mit Familie auch lebt, aber das Apartment hatte ein separater Eingang, somit keinerlei Störungen gegenseitig vorhanden. "We had a glorious two week holiday here. It is remote ( very quiet and rural) so have to drive everywhere but good beaches and towns 35~40 mins away. Rovinj and Vrsar our favourites. House is very well presented and spotless with everything you need. Lovely barbecue area with sink by the pool. Very clean and well equipped. Worth noting just two a/c units one upstairs and one down, so fans in the bedrooms would have been good as they did get quite warm at night and we weren’t keen to leave...
