"It was really unfortunate to arrive at a time when the key system was down. Every time needed to leave my room (2nd floor) to the restaurant (1st floor) or gym (5th floor) and back to the restaurant, I needed to first go to reception (ground floor), to ask someone to come up stairs to let me back into my room. "The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."
