"Pat was very helpful and offered lifts to and from town (only short distance by car) a number of times. I would recommend a car to get around Margaret River and to and from this accommodation. The room is small but the bed is comfortable. Good water pressure and shower head. Sitting on verandah and listening to the wind in the trees was nice. The room next door feels very close, the resident was lovely but I felt like we could hear each other all the time."

"The property was beautiful and we did enjoy the heating during a bitterly cold winter. That said, I do think the amenity details should include the information that the toilet and bathroom facilities are outside, several metres away from the main cottage, and open to all the elements. We were lucky that it didn't rain on either of the days/nights that we were there. If it had, we would not have left a glowing review at all. Our host Vicki was very helpful and obliging. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the back patio in the late afternoon, and took photos of the view of the valley and lots of birds."

"We stayed two nights at White Dog Lane. Brian and Susi were amazingly warm hosts, Susi had warm scones ready for us on arrival and baked us more treats the next day, Brian spent lots of time showing us the animals and chatting. Our kids absolutely loved collecting the eggs and feeding the goats and are already asking when we can go back.
