"The rooms have been remodelled since we stayed There previously. The bathroom is clean but small and very little space to place items. While the accommodations are good it seemed a bit sparse. No pencil, paper or extra soap. Only 2 towels per set and when we needed more, the maids were reluctant to hand them out. There was only one elevator in service the entire 5 nights we were there. Friendly staff with great loyalty incentives
"This is probably the second hotel review I’ve ever written, but my recent stay at the New Yorker absolutely warrants it. Two things, in particular, stood out. First, the amazing staff. Besides the hotel’s prime location, the staff make you feel truly welcome. For example, the doorman remembered the name of my service dog. They consistently go out of their way to provide exceptional service with a personal touch. Second, the upgrades. Unlike other hotels that claim to upgrade my room but make no noticeable changes, the New Yorker genuinely impressed me. Without any request, they upgraded my room significantly due to my extended stay. The upgraded unit had three rooms, a terrace, a walk-in closet, two bathrooms, and a stunning view of Midtown. They got it right, and I’ll be booking with them more often."
