"Loved Crystal Cove. Wonderful breakfasts. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the free watersports and going on the catamaran. Also enjoyed the opportunity to use the water taxi to go along the coast to the other hotels. It was lovely to visit the different hotels to eat lunch and dinner."

"I will not go back this resort in future. Location and properties were good but the staffs are not friendly and some of them has attitude . Breakfast menu is almost the same everyday and most are deep fried and all food rich with oil. For the dinner, you have to make a reservation, you can not just go eat within time limit (not the buffet style)and need to set up the time , the menu is not much to choice. I stayed for a week but I am not enjoy their food compare to other Caribbean Island all inclusive resort. Night entertainment is totally boring , nothing excited and just one person sing the song. Wave all inclusive is not worth it what I paid for the price. More expensive than others but the service is not much what you paid. Beach is very small and water is always wavy can not enjoy in the water. the hotel is just next to the road and can hear the noise from local bus and car ."

"Check-in at this apartment went okay. We initially had some trouble locating the spot, but we contacted Ian, the host, and he stayed on the line with us until we pulled up and went through the front door. Our first impressions of the place was that it looked as advertized but in person it was underwhelming. First, the location of the apartment: it seemed to be in a transitional neighborhood, where bars on the windows were needed for security reasons. We genuinely feared being out late or after dark. The apartment is in a gated yard but that offered little security as the occupants in the other apartment kept leaving the gate open. Next, cleanliness: some furniture needed dusting, the kitchen and bath needed a deep clean, moreso the refrigerator with sticky shelves and a shower with grimy floors. My 4-year old son had to be coaxed to step into the shower! The apartment has three large rooms, but the AC broke in one room, forcing my two children to share our bed with us while my mom was in the next room. Ian was amazing and offered to have a technician out the next day to fix the AC. The living room has no AC and was almost intolerable with the Bajan heat. We managed to stay only one of our four nights before we decided to move to a resort. Ian refunded us some of the money and we're grateful for that. The space is big but not family-friendly if you're thinking of it for your family."

New Breathtaking Beach-Front Property

"Great Property! Great location! Beach access and a pool are game changers. The pool isn't just a 'plunge'. You can actually swim in it. The patio/pool area is really fantastic. The beach is amazing - Bring your snorkling mask! Beautiful views, clean and comfortable. Lots of comfortable seating, and kitchen is well equipped. Cleaning staff were lovely! Wifi was great. Fast and stable. Great water pressure/plumbing.Its not really a quiet spot, on a main road and beside a bar. But honestly it didn't really bother us much. I think that might be the price you pay to be on the West Coast, right on the water.Nice touches:Clothes line, very handy (although you need a step stool, its high up).Closets with drawers and hangers in all the bedrooms - amazing. Out door shower/hose (at beach entrance) - perfect.Big pile of beach towels, pool noodles, floating things.Needs improvement - In the late afternoon there is no shade. We found that after a day of being in the sun, we needed some! The room that you can spilt the bed into two singles is more for 2 children maybe, not two adults comfortably. Also even for two adults - not splitting -the mattresses don't really line up comfortably. The cooler (beside the bbq) isn't really portable. It would be nice to have a small cooler available for day tripping to other beaches.That's it folks! It was a great home base for our vacation.Thanks! "

"The check-in was amazing - thank you for your warm welcome, Beverly! The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked great. We loved having the beach within a 3-4 minute walk from the property. The grounds itself are beautiful and well maintained. The apartment is a bit dated. However, the daily cleaning service was great! The area around the property and leading to the beach is a bit dirty. But you can't beat the value of this place! Paradise Beach is one of the very best in Barbados and to have this property so close to it made up for the surrounding area not being perfect. "
