"When I went to check in the person behind the counter told me I did not have a reservation. This then began a series of events that caused significant stress. My phone was out of power as was my lap top. I took my lap top to a neighboring hotel where I was able to see I DID have a reservation. That person was not there when I returned but check in was fine. When I eventually saw the person in question he said I must have made the reservation that day with no apology"

"We had a 2 night stay. Craig was chatty, but failed to point out a few things at breakfast on the first morning which proved a little irritating. The pool is only available for guests on certain hours, for example 6-10pm only. Also, rooms are not serviced unless you actually ask for them to be. This information was on the noticeboard but this was not pointed out, so we didn't see it. Otherwise, a nice stay, a good breakfast. Oh, and very light coloured curtains so expect to be woken early."

"Our stay was very short but comfortable. The room was very nice. Because we had had a long walk after an early start we had no touble sleeping next to the A30, which was quieter than we expected. Breakfast was great and the shower was refreshing and powerful."

"Covenstead is my preferred place to stay in Glastonbury. It's interior is so unique and a perfect fit for eclectic eccentricity of the town with a great back story too. The rooms spacious & comfortable with nice sized bathrooms plus daily service. Being opposite the Abbey and minutes walking to the High Street it's also a perfect location. "We spent a wonderful 2 night stay here. Paul and Judy and their 3 dogs are lovely and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The shepherd hut is great with lots of character. "Perfect property for our trip with teens, grandparents, extended family and our 2 well behaved dogs. Wonderful space, facilities and views. Host very attentive and excellent communication. We needed somewhere we could access with a wheelchair abd this property was well designed for easy access, a lift and multiple wet rooms. Enjoyed large family dining and quality time in the open planned living space. Highly recommend !"

"Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou"

"The staff were very friendly, especially Lucas and Millie. Lucas works long hours and nothing was too much trouble for him - he always went the extra mile to satisfy us. The food was excellent, both from the dinner and breakfast menus. The location and surroundings were superb. Just one thing I think could be improved. There is no front desk overnight and they provide a mobile number in case of an emergency. The trouble is that there is no landline and the mobile signal was non-existent most of the time. I don't know whether staff sleep on the site, if so some internal communication system should be installed in case of emergencies."
