"Good location close to the Minster. Room was on the main road side of the building, but we'll sound proofed. Some noise from the bar, but this is expected in a pub. Problem with loss of hot water pressure on the final morning was irritating, but these things happen. Clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the food. "

Monkbridge also offers parking (pre-arrange with owners) which is big plus point in and around central York. It's only a 5 - 10 minute walk to city centre so ideally located. "If you are looking to explore York and need a base for a couple of nights then look no further than The Burton Stone Inn. A family business with wonderful hosts. Ample parking, clean and tidy room with decent shower. A very good hearty breakfast to prepare you for your 10 minute easy stroll into the city. "Have never been to a Glamping pod before but would absolutely visit the little hide again. The pod was a good size and had everything we needed. Great location and the showers/ toilets are well kept. Would come back next time and will bring a disposable bbq to use at the shared area."
