"The property is set on a well maintained estate. The area is quiet and we felt incredibly safe. The property is undergoing some maintenance in some areas- just painting and decorating- however this didn’t detract from the charm and uniqueness this place holds. The onsite dining room is very quaint and the staff at dinner were polite and helpful, as were the morning staff for breakfast. We did make use of the pool- it is heated but it does look like it could do with some painting also but we...

"Stayed two nights and from check in to checkout staff were friendly helpful and informative. Breakfast was fantastic and staff kept place clean. Ideal for shops places to eat and transport links..... Room clean ad beds comfortable. Room was cleaned towels changed for second day. Will definately return.. Not our first stay here "

"White House is an older property centrally located in Watford only a few minutes from Sainsbury's and the shopping area. Parking at the rear of the property is convenient. While the decor is older, the rooms are comfortable and clean. What makes this property special is the friendliness of the staff. Every member we encountered was friendly and polite. After a long haul flight, it filled the bill. Clean beds, hot shower and a place to launch our travels. "

"For a motorway hotel it is good quality, always clean. I use this hotel several times each year as it is about halfway a long journey i do. What is impressive is the consistent high standard, I've never had a bad experience there. "

"Smooth check in Advised to change room from suite where sofa bed not appropriate for kids to double room. Very honest input from Mohammed at check out. Gave lots of options. Room had poor AC control though, room for some rea9 was really hot. Luckily had a fan in the room. Breakfast decent. Electric charging point x 1, short cable so had to adjust car. Uses bp pulse app. Extended check out at £10 per hour. I feel this should be free in non busy periods. "

"Rooms were plenty big and clean and the shower was great bar area good and staff very friendly "

"We stayed only one night very close to the airport for our flight the following morning. When we checked in it stated that the room was standard, I had booked a superior (this may not be the correct terminology) this was quickly corrected though the room we were given was quite clearly set for one person as there was only one robe, one pair of slippers, one bottle of water etc! The room however was more than acceptable!"
