This was a perfect place to stay before visiting Harry Potter Studio tour, we had a large family room and the staff were super friendly and helpful, was so pleased with the service. We had a swim in the morning and had the pool to ourselves.

The room and communal areas were very clean, the room was beautiful. A few disappointments, we had no instant coffee in the room only coffee pods with no machine, our chosen breakfast wasn’t available and there was some miscommunication with the menu items, and the shower was very slow draining

Had to swop rooms twice as first room paint was scuffed, bed not clean. 2nd room (upgraded to superior) was right next to air con which kept me awake all night, has cracks in paint work and mould in bathroom. 3rd room was very nice. Staff were lovely and bar area was nice. Gardens beautiful. Rest of hotel (not shown in website) photos needs renovation with broken window in corridors, scuffed and peeling paint.

Amazing hotel beautiful location, lovely grounds. The staff were really lovely and helpful, with everything they gave us a map to Harry Potter as the hotel is a Perfect location if you are visiting the Warner brothers studio. It’s a 20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride for £6. There is Nothing else in the area to do, however, you can visit the town of Watford, which is a 10minute taxi ride away £10. Lots of pubs and restaurants
