"The room was small but that's expected in Venice. Bathroom was well equipt but small. Very good air conditioning system. It's very close to St Mark's square so you can hear the bells at night. Staff were all very helpful and afternoon tea is a nice touch"

"Hotels location was great, and having a breakfast included was very handy. However the breakfast options where very limited. The biggest negative was the mosquitos, that where already all over our room when we first entered. I left covered in bites which in the heat got very irritated. "

"Had a great experience overall, Following the Google Maps directions not so easy. Try using Apple Maps instead. Stayed 2 nights, bed was super comfy. Hotel was clean, very beautiful history decor. Only negative I have is the pictures were not accurate, the pictures of the views were misleading. Based on the price in Canadian we paid. In the end, I am happy with the locations. Because it was quiet in the mornings and in the evening. And I will always remember the hotel as we got Engaged there."

"The hotel was nice and our room was comfortable. Unfortunately there had been a power outage prior to our arrival and the water pump was broken. They were providing water via a manual pump but there were several times with little or no water pressure which was a bit inconvenient. They were doing their best to address/fix the situation but it did impact our visit a bit. The location was very good for us and the breakfast was delightful. "

"We had a great 3 night stay at the Hotel Antico Doge. The staff were friendly and helpful. The suite was gorgeous with a lovely diffuser which filled the room. The breakfast offering seemed small but had everything we wanted and the location was perfect to reach everywhere. Would highly recommend."

"Do the employees sleep? The ladies that checked us in during the evening were the same ones serving the guests breakfast! Not only that but they were beyond amazing at both! The hotel is a bridge away from the train station, so an easy 5 minute walk. It is also 5 minutes to the main bus/taxi area to and from the airport. There are lots of hotels in Venice but when we come back we will be staying here again! "
