before I start I will make you aware that I am an ex hotel manager, and I have helped opened 2 4* hotels in the UK and another hotel in Greece. this does pose a problem for me as I constantly look at the finer detail whenever I stay away.
However over all the hotel was great and we had a fantastic holiday, we arrived late in the evening and went straight to our room, I had only booked and paid for a studio but the room we got was huge and very comfortable. the hotel was well presented and had some good facilities but needed a little husbandry. meaning that in places it needed a little lick of paint mostly in the corridor areas as there were a lot of scuff marks from the trollies. the pool areas were well kept and good but in the toilets some of the fixtures and fittings were rusty. the gym was adequate for a bit of CV training but was very basic and I felt the games/recreation room was heavily under utilised. that said you wouldn't go there to play games etc but it could be better for the kids. the area was great and there are lots of restaurants and bars to explore. the boat trips were great and reasonably prised but may cost more in the summer months.
the area is generally a sleepy fishing village and ideal for families or couples and there is a good bus service to get you to most places for a day out.
overall a wonderful holiday and worth a visit.
Everything about our holiday went really well, we both felt the breakfast had improved so much from the year before. Pool and gardens were looked after to an excellent standard. The bar at the end of the day was relaxing with entertainment every night. Superb beech very clean. The hotel is in a perfect location far enough from the town but near enough to walk to, lots of restaurants and bars and also a supermarket very near the hotel. For us this this hotel and location for everything was prefect for us (10 out 10).
A lovely trip to a quiet and idyllic stretch of the Algarve. Fantastic facilities, in particular the Atlantic pool with it's sea views. Great access to the beach and plenty of restaurants nearby too. Very much recommended!

Stayed for 5 nights and was defiantly value for money. Food was nice with a lot of variety, rooms were spotless and staff were lovely and helpful. Hotel is slightly outdated but this wasn't a bother to me and the beach was less than a 5 min walk away. Stunning sea view and not far from the local town. There was a lot of elderly guests so not really suited for a group of young people, but this could have been due to the time of year and is a popular place for golfers, though the small groups that were there seemed to have a good time
A real find, during my stay , I overnight end in two hotels and while this is not on the waters edge . The size of the swimming pool more than compensated.Staff were friendly and efficient ant the apartment was more hotel suite.
Overall as good as it gets almost.
Excellent hotel about 15 minute walk from the town and a further 10 to the beach or harbour. Harbour has all restaurants. Amazing room just could not fault the hotel if you tried. The staff were very friendly and attended to all your needs. Will definitely be returning in the near future. Even had champagne with breakfast!
