"We both had an excellent experience staying in this Magnificent Hotel, such a great setting, most interesting Castle. The Dinner had a good selection of dishes and the food was delicious and well presented. The Continental Breakfast very good too. The Staff were so Friendly and helpful. "Very good hotel in the middle of the city. The secure parking is excellent and directly below the reception. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel restaurant as thanks to the protesting farmers our 6 hour journey took 12 hours instead of 6! The late hour of arrival made it a bit of a hobsons choice but it turned out that every cloud has a silver lining! The set menu was superb as were the staff. I normally avoid hotel restaurants but if you stay here the...

"Great in most respects. But we had a dog friendly room and dogs weren’t allowed anywhere we could eat so its more limiting than other dog friendly hotels we’ve stayed at"

"This was a huge suite, on two levels. We'd asked for a cathedral view and we certainly got one - excellent. Lovely suite and the hotel was so central to everything. We wished we were staying another night.. Maybe next time. "
