"Enjoyed the spa, particularly the huge jacuzzi! Bar area was nice for a drink before going out. The only down side was that the room was very hot. There’s no way to control the heating. There’s a ceiling fan which is quite effective, but it was like an oven and windows could only open a crack to let in air. But it’s nicely situated in the cliff with great views across the sea from the front of the hotel."

"The first thing to mention is that this property is on 3 floors. There are 30 very steep, very narrow, stairs between the ground floor and the top bedroom. Although it does indeed sleep 6 people, having 3 double beds, the bed in the attic room is half under the eaves of the roof and you must bend double to get in and risk knocking yourself out to get there. Fantastic view from the rear, overlooking the coastline, waves crashing in, the headland and castle ruins off to the right. It was early evening and quite windy when I arrived. "When staying at this accommodation they did offer clear instructions on how to find and where to park, The apartment was clean and spacious, However we found that you could not use both showers at the same time which wasnt acceptable when this place wasnt cheap , Why have two showers if this is the case, We also found that two of the windows were broken so we were unable to closes these at night and with the busy nightlife outside we had a restless night, We also found the bedding to be poor...

"We had a lovely stay with our granddaughters. Cowslip cottage was ideal for us. The girls loved having their private bathroom. Everything was spotless, beds comfy in fact couldn't have asked for more. The girls loved being with the animals and in the play area - we had to drag them off to go into Scarborough! So peaceful if all you need is a rest."

The kitchen is fantasic & is a great hub of the place as we all gathered in there for food and drinks on an evening. The bedrooms are a little tight around the actual bed, especially in the room with the double bed. You have to almost shuffle around it but there is then ample space by the dressing table & wardrobe.
