"This is a very traditonal hotel in the best sense of that word. The rooms are spacious and we had one with a great view towards Robin Hoods Bay. We had dinner and breakfast and both were very good."

Fantastic view from the rear, overlooking the coastline, waves crashing in, the headland and castle ruins off to the right. It was early evening and quite windy when I arrived. It’s easy to find, the signage stands out. There’s space for a few cars and parking is free to customers. On street parking around Scarborough is free only after 6pm. "Pleasant quiet room, the hotel is on the less crowded North Bay area so very quiet but this also meant that there was nowhere close by to eat. The proprieter was very helpful when we asked for an earlier breakfast as we wanted to get on with ur onward journey."
