"The property was well situated and the room was very acceptable. What I didn’t like was the car transfer from the airport arranged by the concierge … a half hour ride with an average driver cost over $400 … almost a third again on the price of the room .. I felt ripped off. I know it wasn’t the hotel’s car but it reflects badly on them "

"The hotel is less than 2 years old and consisted of every modern convenience possible. The food was excellent. And, you can't beat the location--directly across the street from the Walt Disney Concert Hall and caddie-corner from The Music Center. But, best of all, was how genuinely friendly the entire staff were, especially Adam in guest services."

"The Aster is an island of tranquility in what can be a loud and unnerving area - the intersection of Hollywood and Vine. The hotel is intimate and comfortable, a nice change from the cold sterile feel of many "high-end" properties. Our room was huge and very comfortable. The staff responded to our various requests immediately and pleasantly. We highly recommend the Aster to anyone wanting to stay in or near Hollywood."

Room service food was amazing for room service food, though a bit pricey. Wonderful staff at check in and valet parking. No pressure to tip but I did because it was well deserved. Pet friendly.
