"Check in was fast. The room allocated to me was easily accessible and very spacious. The plumbing system needs to be repaired. I found something floating in the wc when I first got into the room. Thought the housekeeping did not do a thorough job, but after I flushed the toilet, the floating objects kept reappearing. It was rather disgusting. The hotel has a pub and food was good, service was great too. "

"This hotel is a pub with rooms above. It is a period building so has it's quirks but that adds to it's charm. Our room was spacious & bathroom was very clean. Other furnishings a little tired & electrics need updating as extension leads with multiple sockets pose a safety issue. Food was excellent & staff were amazing. Definitely would stay again as in a great location in town. "
