Really enjoy staying at these apartments. They're always clean, tidy and the staff are great and really helpful. It's really convenient for work and there are so many local amenities, you're not short of anything. Still wish they'd do something about the bedroom blinds as they don't really stop any light coming in, but the beds are really comfy and the aircon works a treat.

Great apartments

Stayed here for 5 nights on a work trip to Reading. The apartments come with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The aircon is amazing as I like my rooms to be quite chilly. Seating and bed is really comfortable. Only slight grumble

Perfect location in Reading. Short walk to the town center, shopping, dining and the train station. The apartment was nice but was in need of some maintenance. Definitely above average compared to other locations at the same price.

Clean and comfortable

I visited my daughter who is a student at the University of Reading. After our day trips, House of Fisher was the perfect place to rest my aching feet and get ready for the next adventure. It is clean, comfortable and has everything one needs.The location was perfect. I will definitely stay there again.

A great new find!

Very friendly front desk staff. The room was a bit light in the morning with the sun coming through the blinds but the apartment was very good and I will definitely stay again. Recommended to other colleagues already

Great apartments in Reading

Had a 5 night stay in these apartments for a work trip. A few colleagues have stayed here before and recommended them. On arrival the staff were really helpful and that continued through the week. The apartment itself was clean and was a decent size. The bed was really comfortable, I was very impressed with that. My only gripe is that the blinds in the bedroom were completely hopeless. I was woken every morning around 6am because the bedroom was so light. If they put decent curtains up, it would be a 5 star review.

Although our room first appeared clean we soon discovered the level of cleanliness was only superficial. The public areas like hallway's, lifts and entry areas definitely indicated they were not regularly cleaned. The deck on Level 3 had an overflowing rubbish bin as was every ashtray. On a plus the room was quiet, had opening windows and the air conditioning and washer dryer worked well.

Our plane was cancelled and we informed Expedia that we would arrive one day later. Eventually we got refund of one night, and early check-in for free, which is very good. The apartment is clean and spacious, and there are sufficient washing tablets provided for washing machine and dish washer. There are also sufficient utensils for cooking. The location is good as it is only a few minute walk to the shopping mall. I hope that the window blinds can be changed to keep the bedrooms dark during day time, and more towel racks can be provided in the toilets for hanging hand towels and face towels. Furthermore, more space should be provided to place soap and shampoo in the shower/bathing compartment.
