"Our three nights at Olissippo Castelo were fabulous. Even the standard room has a lovely view of two miradouras, one with a beautiful church. You can’t beat the location near the Costelo and at the border of the Alfama with quick access downstairs to either Graca or . The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was most accommodating. There are numerous well rated restaurants nearby. As with any place, you choose to stay. Be prepared for an enormous amount of walking unless you are going to take Uber and Bolts everywhere."

If you plan to stay here, you will need to be comfortable with the peacock noises in the early morning and sometimes during the night. It didn’t bother me at all since I had a white noise machine, but I did hear another guest complain about it. Overall, a beautiful place and I would stay here again. "
