Charming studio 2 minutes from the Arena
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (33)
"This lovely studio apartment was exactly as advertised and exactly what I needed. On arrival, I was greeted warmly by Catherine and Francois, who helped me get oriented, handed me a welcome gift, and left me blissfully on my own. They remained available my entire visit to follow up on any questions I had, or to advise on what to see (and the best way to do it). First rate hosts, first rate location in heart of the old city, minutes walk to major features, and access to just wander the city at...

IN VILLA, APARTMENT ALL COMFORT WITH PARKING
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (47)
"Jean Charles was a great host (he lives below the apartment)! The apartment was just as expected, with lots of room for all of us to spread out (living room, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, entry, bathroom, and water closet). With air conditioning. We cooked in two of our five nights as the kitchen and downstairs bbq were well outfitted for our use. This location, although out of the city center of Arles provided us with a three minute drive to parking in the old town area, and also easy escape to the...

"We had a top floor room that had a good view of the roof tops. The room and bed were excellent and the bathroom was roomy and modern. A square with restaurants and shops was 50 yards away. The only issue during the stay was we had no help carrying our luggage up four flights of stairs."

"Really lovely place with beautiful views of roman monuments. The only complication is that you cannot drive to the hotel as it is in the historic center - however follow the instructions you get in their email upon reservation - just for the drop off and pickup of luggage the very helpful hotel staff makes that possible! They also offer a great deal on city parking! "

Brit Hotel Acacias
3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (424)
"The hotel is just at the entrance to the old city from the Gare du Arles less than a 10 minute walk with luggage. It offers a nice breakfast buffet, I took the cheaper option, coffee, juice and various breads and jam. It is at the base of the hill that leads up to the Amphitheatre and other sites. There are several restaurants within a short walk. You can also take a nice walk along the Rhone for a scenic reflex of the day."

"Beautifully decorated hotel. Easy to find and in a quiet location. However, it is not in the town centre and is easier to get there via car. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
