"Family of 4 stayed at this property july 4th week. The lake is BEAUTIFUL and quiet!!!!! Bit of a loud party house next door but it was the week of the fourth… House is perfect for a quiet retreat. The stairs are a little scary (narrow/steep) but after time they seem normal. Love it and look forward to coming back!"

"The cabin was absolutely wonderful. It was a great "home-base" for my husband and I. We slept great. I really enjoyed using the kerosene lamps and the woodburning stove. I would absolutely recommend it."

"Itvstarted with a 24 hour notice due to our original house being flooded for the storm. They fot us in a day later to this smaller yet spacious lakehouse with many little surprises! We enjoyed the large master suite with the clawfoot tub. The outside sauna was a blessing and the wood stove! The the renovations were lovely. We were comfortable and relaxed for pur elipse little get away! Thank.ypu SO MUCH for having us in such short notice and sharing this lovely little cabin!"

"This cabin is lovely - a beautiful location, very comfortable. Pam and Larry are great hosts; very communicative and helpful. We had a very relaxing stay overall. We had some unfortunate timing, with the lake experiencing a persistent algae bloom that made the water inaccessible to swimming or water sports, but we made the best of it - exploring other area lakes and ponds for swimming (in particular, McGrath Pond had a hidden gem of a local swimming spot!), I would highly recommend this...

"My family had a great time at the beautiful lakeside cottage. We have spent many family vacations in ME. This was one of the best. It's a great spot for multi generation family gatherings. The location was perfect. The lake is beautiful and totally serene. All the lake amenities (tubes, kayaks, float) were a huge plus. Plus the lawn, volleyball net and Zipline were perfect for extra fun. Our kids had a blast each day. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather during our week long vacation...

"This really is a beautiful setting - it is very private and quiet. The front porch is where we spent the most time in the evenings, hearing the loons call was priceless! The home was clean and well-appointed. Due to these positives, I give it a five star rating. However, a few things are needed to make it even better - repair the holes in the window screens. This was a very hot summer stay and there is no air-conditioning. I really wanted to open my bedroom window at night to get the cool...

"Myself and 4 friends booked this home on the water for an annual super bowl ice fishing trip. The house was just as described, spacious and comfortable. The pond is beautiful and the fishing was outstanding, we caught fish all day long. Location is good as well, with plenty of restaurants and downtown Augusta within 10 to 15 minutes. Great home for the price."

"This is the cleanest property I have ever rented. Spotless! The setting is so peaceful and calming. Hubby and I sat outside looking at the lake, listening to the leaves rustle and a feeling of total relaxation was ours. Grocery stores and town are only a few miles down the road. Easy to find. We loved this place!!"
