"Large interior, clean. Safe. Nice comfy mattress. Across from a large cemetery. Checkin staff hand wrote my credit card number on a piece of paper in ink--not secure! I asked for the rwtuen of the piece of paper but was told it was needed. Staff would not relinquish. "

The owners were so wonderful welcoming us with a text and the little store was so cute and great for little items you may need. The property was adorable with pickleball courts, a playground and cute fire pits. They also had lots of firewood, lighter fluid and lighters available. "This hotel was old but very clean and comfortable. We loved the view and the location. Walking trail to the Natural Bridge was right on the property. "

We enjoyed strolling amongst the big trees and driving the short distance to the little town of Trinidad. One note: no bathroom sink in our cabin, so all handwashing, teeth brushing etc. has to be done at the kitchenette sink. "

"We are a family of seven, and really enjoyed our stay in the very cozy family cabin. It had a much appreciated “homey feel” at the end of a week long experience with budget motels! Our kids had a blast in their little courtyard that included a swing set, a teeter totter, and horseshoes. And we were able to save money on going out to eat by using the pots and pans provided in the kitchen to make our own meals. "It was a clean and serene place to stay for our glacier national park trip! We were so close to the west side of the park. The place was super cute and I bet a blast to stay during the summer. Everything was closed by the time we got there (9/29)"

"When I first drove up, I thought - uh oh. But when I walked in my cabin, it was seriously better than the outside looked. Well appointed, clean, comfortable and roomy. Michelle was very kind - even allowed me to use her wash and dryer. If you're looking for the Ritz, go elsewhere. But if you want a good value, this is it. 15 minutes from the visitors center."
