About this property
Quintessential Maine cabin w/ private waterfront
Stay in the fully renovated historic Fox Glen Cabin with all the 1930s charm—updated with everything you need for a restful lakeside vacation!
Enjoy coffee on the screened-in porch overlooking the water or watch the sunset during a leisurely kayak. 5 minutes from a microbrewery and 15 minutes from the historic downtown with local restaurants.1 hour from both Portland & Booth Bay Harbor. 2 hours from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
This cozy cabin is pet friendly and perfect for up to 7 people, includes a full kitchen, beautiful stone hearth & brand new gas stove fireplace, washer/dryer, chiminea, fire pit, 2 kayaks, and more!
A true Maine log cabin with all the amenities needed for your relaxing getaway. Full kitchen opens to a charming living room/dining room combo with a massive stone hearth and new gas fireplace!
Two comfortable bedrooms and a lofted space make a cozy stay for 7. The lofted space has two twin beds and a twin-sized futon. Access this overflow sleeping space using a sturdy ladder. The ladder that leads to the loft is fixed in place but is not suitable for children to climb. The loft has low railings and is not suitable for children to sleep or play in. The top of the ladder has a wire going across it—the cabin was built in the 1930s and has been fully redone, but to keep the original structure, supports needed to be installed.
A claw foot tub/shower combo completes the 1930s feel. Large windows and a screened in front porch look out to Three Cornered Pond. Relax in adirondacks on the water with your morning coffee or afternoon beverage. Two docks and two kayaks to explore the waterfront.
Although we are on a "pond," that term is used differently in Maine than it may be in other areas. The water is clear, not murky, and comparable to a small lake with a sandy bottom where you walk into the water.
Whether you’re swimming, sunbathing, or reading, there is something for you and your family or friends here!
Please be aware that the cabin does not have access to a boat launch and launching a boat into the property is not possible. Also, the docks may not be in the water if you are staying in May or the end of October, but you will have full access to the beautiful waterfront. We’d love to host you!

The place was exactly as described but even more beautiful than the photos show. It served as a perfect home base to explore different parts of Maine and we can’t wait to be back.
The cabin and location were perfect for a fall getaway to see family, spend time with friends and host my Mom’s birthday.
It was cozy and comfortable. Easy check in and great hospitality!
I would highly recommend this cabin to everyone. It was so clean and had all the amenities that you needed and more. They have thought of everything. Enjoyed the canoe and tubes to float on the lake. And the fires in at night. . It was truly paradise. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
Fox Glen was just what the doctor ordered for a heat wave summer staycation. Loons, Eagles, fish, floating, fireside, and fun - this place is perfect for your summer plans. Pond was warm and we spent all day on the water. Camp is very comfortable (especially with the heat pumps for A/C) and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Will consider another long stay and have already recommended this camp to others!
Just back from our week stay at this lovely cabin. The hosts Jonna and Dave were very thorough in providing any accommodations needed. We split our dinners between grilling on their outdoor grill and visiting the restaurants on Water Street in downtown Augusta. Otherwise, swimming from the dock or eating on the front porch while listening to the loons at night made for a wonderful vacation. You won’t be disappointed.
We loved the cabin and its location! The lake was magic and the cabin absolutely perfect! The tranquility and coziness just made you relax. Thank you for a lovely family weekend making memories!
Really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the area. Cabin very comfortable and nicely decorated in the Maine Cabin Master’s style. The dogs enjoyed swimming and jumping off the dock. Thank you!
One of the best places we have ever stayed at. Our hosts thought of everything. Swim shoes, a kitchen full of almost any utensil or gadget you could think of. The cabin is beautifully furnished and well maintained. The property is so relaxing and the view is spectacular. I would highly recommend staying at FoxGlen to anyone who is loooking for a relaxing get away that is still close to stores and town. Definitely 5 stars!!
Really enjoyed this very clean, 1930's charm cabin. Quiet neighborhood. Fully equipped in the kitchen, household supplies and even waterfront play/relaxation items. Our hosts certainly thought about the details. Even a water/food dish awaited our pet !! Easy access, informative notebook with cabin instructions to local points of interest. VERY much hope to return.
