"Dingle is the perfect walkable little town. I’ve stayed just out of town but it is less convenient. I’ve also stayed at a hotel right in town but it was noisy. This was perfect because you could easily walk but a little quieter."

"The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

"It was the perfect place for us staying in Dingle for 28 days! Douglas was very attentive to ALL my concerns or questions! Just a suggestion for guests unfamiliar with the oven - like us - have information somewhere on how to use the oven? Thank goodness for the internet and we figured it out!"

"House was clean and kitchen reasonably well equipped but cold when we arrived as heating was off. Timer on immersion was not working, shower room on ground floor looks tired and the double glazing on the front windows was blown (condensation between the glass). Main issue for us was the frosted glass at the back of the lounge which means that you can't see out of those windows at all."

"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs. "We had a wonderful stay at Fia Lodge. Located in a beautiful, peaceful setting with stunning views of MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and a great base for day trips exploring Kerry. The Lodge was beautifully presented, very comfortable, clean and modern, with bifold doors and great outdoor space. Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful setting, and we look forward to a return visit."

"Smooth booking, cot and highchair provided as requested. Great kitchen and dining space with plenty of lovely kitchenware. Heating and hot water easy and preset. Beach near the property was lovely (need to go over slippy rocky pathway to access but kids and adults could do so). Views from house were mountains, green fields and farm animals, very peaceful. "Very spacious house with wonderful views. Comfortable and under floor heating meant always right temperature. Liking a log fire, this never needed. Being Kerry, one needs to be prepared for all weathers. This house very well suited to sitting in for hours -days where that weather forbids going out. Recommended, and without qualification would return for future trips"

A quiet area and a great place to renew yourself. We spent the week visiting historic sites, driving mountain passes, and even took a walk with alpacas!!"
