4/10 Poor

"There is no fan or air conditioning in the room. Thus, NO AIR circulation. Bring your own fan. The window opened but there was no screen and we were looking at garbage bins and dumpsters. Thus, we kept the window closed to avoid any bugs/flies from entering as well as any odours. There was rarely anyone at the front desk as they guys also had to look after the breakfast area and who knows what else. there is no counter space in the bathroom for any toiletries. The plug for the hairdryer was only 2-prong but the hairdryer was 3-prong. So you had to plug it in the room and sit on a chair, find a mirror to use. The location is NOT convenient if you do not have a car. I would pay a bit more for better accomodations. One good thing is their breakfast. The guys are doing their best but the management needs to invest some $$ to fix the place jp."

"First the pluses for the price point it’s a good value near the airport, parking readily available very convenient to a gas station and not too far away from Dave’s kitchen where you can get amazing bites to eat on the go. And one of the most important things, the sheets are clean, unstained and blanket nice and cozy. Now the bathroom needs refurbishment. The carpet are stained. Everything else is a little bit worn for where I’ve seen better years."

"Staff lovely. Reasonable room and hotel. Right next to a large Tesco and the bus stop to get to Queensferry & city centre which is helpful. I personally don’t think I got the best deal for the room which is why my score is lower and think I was overcharged by this site. But it’s really not bad and a practical choice."

"Simone is a wonderful host, very quick to respond, extremely helpful with experiences and how to get around and presented a wonderful place to stay, very comfortably. Lovely touches, such as fresh roses, special links to St. Micheal, along with all the basics made our visit to the area easy. Wonderfully clean, great location (so close to trains to Edinburgh, Stirling & Glasgow) and an excellent size to enjoy several days.Thank you Simone, I wish all places were like yours."

"AMAZING! Ken is the best host ever. He had hand made organic soaps, shampoo and conditioner, body lotion, two toothbrushes and toothpaste, tons of coffee pods, milk, orange juice and even a loaf of fresh bread with butter and jam. He had everything you can ask for. Such a kind man. The place was so clean and comfortable. Great location just outside Edinburgh. Cute little town. If I ever come back it’s definitely the place I’m staying at. Thanks again Ken for everything."
