"Stayed at the Linen Bank Residence for eight days. The price of our stay was cheaper than staying in Glasgow. We purchased a Scot Rail Flex Pass. It’s only a twenty minute ride to Waverley Station in Central Edinburgh. Linlithgow is a beautiful town with good restaurants and things to see. The Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, is amazing. We took a cruise on the Union Canal from the Canal Basin in Linlithgow to the aqueduct over the River Avon. We also took day trips to Falkirk to see the famous Falkirk Wheel and to Blackness to visit the castle on the bank of the River Forth. The accommodation itself was excellent. A comfortable room with a small kitchen with everything we needed. A bonus was a coffee machine near the office that was available 24/7. Great restaurant called The Bridge a twenty minute walk from the LBR on the Falkirk Road. Amazing stay. Going back to stay for two nights after our visit to Glasgow."
Beautiful holiday cottages set in quiet rural location close to Edinburgh

"On arrival we found the cottage spotlessly clean & welcoming. Including the bottle of fresh milk & sparkling wine. Excellent parking facilities. The cottage is in a rural area that is beautiful with the charming town of Linlithgow a few miles away. The cottage was larger than expected. Furnished well & looked recently decorated with a modern bathroom. There is a small patio area with outside furniture for each cottage. This leads to a communal grassed area & under a canopy of trees are more outside furniture & toys for children to play with. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Francesco was extremely helpful & provided information on facilities nearby that proved very good. Definitely will return again."

"Unser Aufenthalt hier war in jeder Hinsicht perfekt. Wir wurden persönlich von unseren Gastgebern empfangen und auch während unseres Aufenthaltes standen sie uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Überall findet man kleine Aufmerksamkeiten die weit über das hinausgehen was man erwarten darf. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Wohnung sehr gerne weiter."
Historic 1BR Home in Culross Near Filming Sites

"Our stay at Cunninghame's Rest provided a wonderful welcome to Scotland! We drove the half hour directly from the Edinburgh Airport to find parking out front of the beautiful historic building housing the apartment at 1 Low Causeway, easy lock box access to the apartment, a clean and comfortable interior exactly as advertised, and a thoughtfully warm welcome basket of snacks and treats on the table. The location of this home away from home is absolutely perfect within a short walk of a delicious meal at the Red Lion Inn or breakfast/lunch at the Mercat or Bessie's Cafe. The town of Culross is definitely as picturesque as advertised and a must to experience if you want to step back in time into the Scotland of old and meet warm, friendly people around every corner! My husband and I will never forget the memories we made while staying at Cunninghame's Rest and truly appreciate the hospitality of the host!"

"We had a very nice and comfortable stay at the cottage. The house is very warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped. There is a small parking space at the front of the property and a bigger one at the back. The village is very quiet and perfect for small walks. 15 minutes drive to Rosyth train station made it perfect for us to visit Edinburgh."
