"Located in a quiet area of Carvoeiro the property and grounds, pool etc are kept in good condition. Apartment was well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine etc and AC. All staff were friendly and very helpful. A hire car is useful but Carvoeiro is walkable, but the the return walk is uphill and very steep in places. Cars can be hired through the hotel and the rate we got was better than going direct to the bigger companies. We would definitely return here if we go back to this area....

We made one walk down to the Benagil beach and up the other side to the O'Garve restaurant which was excellent. Ohterwise used the well equipped apartment kitchen for meals."

"The property was just as described. Very comfortable and spacious apartment with lovely roof top terrace which we were able to use even in Jan/ Feb. We would love to stay in this property again if the opportunity arises. The cleaner, Maria was very and communications with the hosts was excellent. The complex was really quiet whilst we were there, the pool area looked lovely and well maintained, thought not used by us as we were there in Winter."

There was also dogs barking threw out the night, which i know can not be helped, but is annoying. "Having been to this area a number of times it was nice to stay walking distance to everywhere. This property is half way up restaurant hill near Lanterna Velha restaurant so really is central. Beach is 5 min walk down the hill and everything is super close. Apartment was very clean and pleasant for our stay. What looks like modern aircon unit in the lounge really did keep the room cool, kitchen had everything you need (would like to see some larger glasses) it all worked as it should. Property...

"We stayed here in the middle of our Portugal vacation. The apartment was a haven of comfort and gave us a chance to do laundry and really enjoy the city and beaches. The place was perfect, comfortable and spacious. We loved the smaller town and so many beaches to explore! The hosts were the most communicative and dedicated to us having an excellent experience. Check in was easy and the lobby staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!"

The roof terrace at the apartment was fantastic for taking in the sun and spent most days on it. The communication with the owner Mark was top notch. Every night it was so noisy as they re stocked the bar from this store room rolling barrels down the stairs , crates of bottles etc. This was usually around 11pm to 12pm. "Property location was fantastic and space was ideal. The property needs a little updating, hot water and Tv did not work and property owner was somewhat non responsive. Had a wonderful time in the Algarve though as the location to hiking, beach and tours were optimal!"

The place itself was everything we needed and in a fantastic location for us about ~30 minutes walking distance from Carvoeiro itself, but less than 10 minutes from the Seven Hanging Valleys trailhead and beach. "We liked area around- pools area, playground for kids, however in April water seems to be still very cold for swiming, so maybe to think on heated pool (at least for kids) installation. Minuses-if you want to use kitchen or washing machine you need to buy all detergents or oil for cooking, salt, pepper yourself, which is not very convinient and reasonable in case of foreign travellers staying for just couple of nights."
