"The B&B is not far from the train station and within walking distance to the major sights in the city center. When we arrived at the B&B, no one was there to let us in (why I generally prefer a hotel to a B&B), but it was only a minute or two before our host arrived. There is no elevator but she helped us lug our bags up the flight of steps to our room. The room was simple but clean and spacious. However, I wasn't impressed by the communication by the property and it was rather hard to find the hotel. Every other place we stayed in contacted us prior to our arrival and sent detailed info to find the place; not this one! No answer to phone calls. Contactless check in/no lobby, if it's your thing. You need to read a 15 page booklet (not kidding), to figure everything...

A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. Also near to Mestre train station with around 10 minutes walk, surrounded by many different hotels and you can feel that the road is safe "
