"This place was very charming and in an excellent location. very charming, clean, etc. The only things to watch out for are: The stair are small and steep. It was fine for us, but an older person of someone without great balance may not want to stay there. Because of the location (in a charming old village) it was hard to find when we arrived. It was fine, but you you need to arrive after dark make arrangements to have the host meet you."

So I spent mornings on long walks and then a nice lunch in the village. "We had a great stay at Forsythia Cottage in Bourton. The well appointed cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay with the added bonus of a car space for our hire car and only a very short walk to the centre of town. In fact we didn’t use the car for the entirety of our stay. The renovated cottage provided all the comforts required whilst still enjoying the authentic experience of a 300 year old home. The courtyard garden was a bonus which we would no doubt have made better...

"The Hive is a unique luxury 2 bed apartment. Spacious and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen including espresso maker right in the center of Stow-on-the-Wold. When I say luxury it is high end in every detail from the bedding to the showers and bath. I loved that the four of us could hang out in the living room as our own private space rather than a hotel lobby. The owners were charming and own the restaurant downstairs. The whole experience is 11/10."

"This was such a lovely, cosy cottage. Really well equipped with plenty of space for the two of us. We particularly liked the wood burning stove. The cottage is just a few yards from the pub in a quiet, out of the way spot. Ideal for a couple wanting to get away from it all for a few days"

"Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. "

"Accommodation is located centrally and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a lovely space to come together with family. Add £13 per day for parking as the place has not its own parking. The place is clean but I gave it a 3 for cleaning because there were empty food boxes behind the desk in the main bedroom. Towels were clean but old . Communication was great and we will definitely go back again but will ask them to pay a little more...
