Beach Hotels in Germany

"I was told to call the hotel and they would call a taxi to pick us up at the Warnemunde Werft Train Station. We called the hotel 5 times over a 45 minute time period and no one answered the phone. Finally we asked someone getting off a train about their not answering the phone. He tried twice on his phone and still no answer. Another person said to walk to the bus station and take the bus which we did. It took us almost two hours to get to the hotel. When we were checking in, the phone rang...

"Old castle converted to hotel with restaurant and located right on the lake. Very unique rooms with quiet accommodations. The hotel was able to change from one day to the next my accommodations because of unexpected travel delays. Friendly staff and helpful."

"Surprising good hotel, considering the modest price and huge scale. It's not as charming as the old Victorian-style guesthouses in Binz, but it's right on the beach, and rooms are surprisingly spacious and everything is squeeky clean. We even had a small balcony, looking on to the forest. Dogs are allowed for an extra €10. Mini tea kitchen and plenty of space for clothes. Nice touches for a beach resort, such as a hoover (for all that sand) and a clothes dryer (for wet swimwear). Not bad at...
