The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended."

"Das Haus ist in einem modernen und sehr guten Zustand. Bad/WC auf jeder Etage. Genug Schlafmöglichkeiten und ein toller Grillplatz. Aber: Die Sauna, weswegen wir uns das Haus ausgesucht haben, ging nicht. Da man sich solche Ferienhäuser oft über das WE mietet war eine Reparatur auch nicht in Sicht. Der Vermieter ist uns zwar preislich entgegen gekommen, trotzdem war es eine unglückliche, ärgerliche und eventuell vermeidbare Situation. Das Haus, so schön wie es ist, ist in keiner Weise...

"It is a really fabulous historic building that has been restored to it's former glory. The apartment is on the upper floor and covers the whole floor. So it is latge and comfortable with a small backyard looking balcony. We really enjoyed our stay. A backery is just around the corner and downtown Elmshorn just a few minute walk away. The Hosts are very friendly and welcoming and accommodating. Could not have asked for better hosts. We loved it!"

"Im Zuge einen Jungesellenabschied haben wir 7 Männer eine große und abgeschottete Anlage gesucht. Und wir wurden keinstenfalls enttäuscht. Das Haus liegt super gelegen und die kurze Anbindung zur A14 ist perfekt. Von dem Verkehr bekommt man nichts mit. Im äußerst gepflegten und großen Garten kann man super kleine Spiele spielen oder wie wir; einfach genießen! Oder man genießt das äußerst geräumliche und luxuriöse Haus. "We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gut Klein Bollhagen. The accommodations were beautiful and the house had everything we could possibly need to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. The kitchen was stocked with every amenity and the furnishings were immaculate. The gardens and surrounding property were like something one would see at a Royal castle! Flowers, fire pit, even idyllic swings for the children. The patio furniture was also lovely and we were able to enjoy relaxing evenings...

"Two families traveling together found this home to be the perfect home base from which to up and down the Rhine to see castles, castles, vineyards, and more castles. This hillside house was very comfortable, featured a lovely terrace surrounded by grapevines. Situated in the small country village of Sauerthal if felt as though our visit brought the most excitement the townsfolk had seen in ages. This is a perfect location for visiting Rhineland if you want a quiet, rustic, authentic experience."
