"Although the property is a tad dated but with amazing history character amd beautiful gardens .. .. the maintenance and cleanliness is exceptional .. they are recovering from the pandememic and doing an amazing job . The service food and rooms are beautiful .. and relaxing .. the staff are beautiful and amazingly helpful and friendly .. walking distance to facilities like ATM .. etc .. The beach is right there with hundreds of fish cafes . I cannot recommendreccomend this place highly enough...

"We enjoyed our stay at The Sakala. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful & were so lovely to our kids. Highlights All requests were actioned in a fast manner. The room air conditioning was great. The hotel was impeccable clean, the room cleaners were fantastic and even lined our kids soft toys on their bed each time they made up the room. Demmy was helpful from the get go and would go above and beyond for our requests!"

"Staff were lovely and we loved our room. The property itself was a little tired, with a small pool area and not much around the resort other than seafood restaurants and the beach. Nice for a short stay. "

"Found the property required some minor upkeeping and maintenance though after 5pm the place was barren, dead. We did experience an issue with our room initially where it smelt quite humid, and we were later moved. The resort did not have any functions after 5pm at all other than host a private 5-year-olds birthday function for someone who was not a hotel guest. We were looking forward to dinner and drinks with live bands by the pool till say 9pm? Staff generally tend to speak Balinese and not...

"Beautiful, luxurious, walk from the beach, water activities are easily available. There’s also a pool and a lot of activities for kids. The breakfast was an amazing buffet, so many options. It’s a pretty busy hotel though if you are looking for more privacy. "
