"Great stuff great room very clean would recommend it to anyone"

"Beautiful Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Less than a mile from the showground so nice walk there and back.to events. Evening meal was outstanding as was breakfast the following morning. Our rooms where a great size but the only criticism I would have is that the room decoration was a little shabby however the cleanliness and furnishing where spot on."

"Only downside was music until late since it is also a pub and there was a wedding on and also the wi fi didn't work in the room. One had to sit in the lobby."

"The room was a little dated but it was very clean, the bathroom was clean and in good repair apart from a splurging hot tap but I am not gumbling as I had hot water, it could have been much worse. The room was in the top of the building and it was very quiet. I was attending an annual event and I will be booking this hotel again next year. "

"Rachael and Rory were perfect hosts and were always there to assist us. The icing on the cake was a delicious Yorkshire Brack cake waiting for us on our arrival and to top it all Rachael made us a cake half way through our visit. The accommodation was excellent. Car parking right outside the front door."

"Very much a Ghosts of Motley Hall hotel. I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to my room yet the hotel seemed to have very few guests - not sure what that was all about. The staff do try their best but the place seems to be run by management from an Agatha Christie novel. My room had such a tiny bathroom too."

"Attentive staff on reception and at breakfast in the restaurant. I am gluten free and they were very helpful- advising what cereals were available ( Scharr in individual packets). Most cooked breakfast items gluten free and I could order toast/ sausages separately by handing a card to waiting staff with my requirements. These then arrived within a couple of minutes. Perfect location for conference centre, right next to auditorium. Car park accessible via hotel lift. We would stay again. "

"Room smaller than expected. Curtains don’t close all the way. Bath tub curtain way too short. Water drips out when showering. Carpet not vacuumed. Has no view. Ambience good. Breakfast good w lots of options. Kitchen staff good and helpful. "
