"Mako 54 was amazing. Herlinda was so accommodating to our arrival time. She met us, made sure we completely understood how access to the apartments worked and was always available if we needed anything. We mistakenly left our laptop behind, she’s notified us before we realized it was left behind. We arranged it to be picked up the next day by ours parents without any problems. We recommend this place if you’re looking for a clean, modern and safe place! We will be back!"

"Room was lovely met our needs . Pool fabulous but it had a lot of rules . Could not bring your own refreshments or food . At a condo I would have thought I could . The walk is exhausting even with the little funicular up the steep part . Staff were always friendly and accommodating as best as they could . Check in was in a separate building, from the pinnacle I was staying at . Over all we did enjoy our stay . Glad we had a car . "

"To review this property, you must rate the check in/out process differently from the condo/building itself. The check in/out process is super inconvenient. I would give it a 2/10. You must get your keys from another hotel that is eight blocks away (0.4 miles). This is not a “short walk” as it is stated. Dragging your luggage through the streets is not ideal. We got to the hotel at 11:30 am to check-in and was told our room would be ready at 1:30pm. That was as expected since check in was...

"We loved staying here as it was super quiet and a very inexpensive Uber ride down to the Malecon, also alot of great breakfast & dinner options! However, the beds are very firm and difficult to sleep on - which if you enjoy really firm beds, this will be a plus for you! It was however a downfall for my husband and I and we got little sleep during our stay due to the beds. They have a great little communal kitchen and pool area :)"

"I stayed 2 weeks. It is very close to the beach! Walking distance to the Malecon. The room was large with a kitchenette. A microwave would have been a great addition but you can certainly survive without one. Bed was comfortable. There's also a small "balcony" off the bedroom. It would have been nice to have chairs.The pool isn't as large as it looks in the photos but was still great to use. Not at all that noisy. Staff are very helpful and friendly! "
